Coming early September -

Pepperdine University will be sending students overseas to a variety of breathtaking locations - only a few of the places among these locations include : Argentina, Heidelberg, and where I will be attending - Florence, Italy.

Applying for the overseas program was an extremely last-minute decision for myself. Florence, Italy is the most competitive overseas program to gain acceptance into, and I was fortunate enough, through an application which I turned in the day it was due (and wrote the previous night - other students spent months preparing their overseas applications), and through an interview which I managed to schedule on the last-possible-day for an interview, to be accepted to participate in this most exciting opportunity.

I have never travelled overseas before, and at the age of 19, I imagine this is going to be an entirely new and life changing experience for myself. I hope to gain better insight into the world around me, and at the same time, I imagine I will be getting to know 30-40 other peers of mine who will be attending the program with me on a more personal level.

This blog will be reporting on my adventures which will be taking place overseas, my opinion and personal insight regarding everything completely foreign to myself, supported with photographs, and any other random thing which might seem fitting to place in here.

It is my personal belief that gorgeous pictures, stories of disorientation and fun, and unprecedented adventure, will soon abound this blog. Layout subject to change within that time, and I'll be coming back soon!

Ciao!  Rach
